Classi Assi
Classi Assi started out spinning hip hop and doing the cut ‘n scratch thing on crappy gear—with early influences stretching from Battle DJs to Mash-up Kings like Z-Trip. The crappy gear didn’t stifle Classi.
10 years later he’s DJing internationally and doing his thing in Montreal with all sorts of lovely cats at some pretty fresh spots. He still loves hip hop (R.I.P.), but you can expect an eclectic sound when he plays (show tunes y’all!).
When he’s not DJing at the clubs, you can find him at his radio show, Go Funk Yourself on CJLO 1690, or producing beautiful music with the OG DJ F.U.N.K. Come check him play and enjoy yourself for a change.
